The Hat Not Hate Quick Knit Loom in partnership with Lion Brand Yarn, allows children to create two knit hats. No experience necessary!
Hat Not Hate is an anti-bullying campaign founded by Shira Blumenthal, herself a victim of childhood bullying. The goal of HatNotHate is to raise awareness by making, wearing and sharing blue hats.
Unlike traditional knitting or crochet, the Quick Knit Loom is easy to learn and easy to use. Children as young as 7 can make a hat and participate in the #HATNOTHATE movement.
Each kit provides everything you need to make, wear, share and accessorize two hats, including 180 yards of chunky blue Lion Brand Yarn, a reusable 9” loom, loom hook, tassel and pom-pom maker, two faux leather #HATNOTHATE tags, and easy to follow instructions.
Tools can be used again and again to make even more hats to support the cause! Additional blue yarn can be purchased at most any craft or yarn supply store.
Help spread the word! Your kit also includes a vinyl #HATNOTHATE sticker that can be placed on water bottles, notebooks, or shared with a friend.
